NYFW favourite looks SS 18
Since it is the last day of New York fashion week, I have collected my favourite looks so far.
Although I was not there and I am not working in the fashion industry I have always loved watching the fashion shows online to see what the designers have come up with each year.

Rihanna did it again! I love how she creates something new over and over again. The collection was colourful but still edgy and these three looks I liked in particular. Especially the grey-orange bodysuits rocks and I can see some celebrities wearing the off-shoulder dress as a casual day to day look. But I am especially in love with the white pants and I would definitely workout in the green shorts with the black undershorts. Well done Rihanna ! This woman just seems unstoppable.
Philipp Plein
Another show that really stood out was Philipp Plein. It was not just a runway show. It was about music and about fashion, something that just belongs together. As I am a fan of black clothes this collection was perfect. The "Good Gone Bad" shirts reminded me a little bit of Moschino, nevertheless I think it is a funny idea and people in the fashion industry will hopefully understand that it is not inappropriate or icky. The new dresses were something I fell in love with. One example is the black one Elsa Hosk was wearing. It reminds me somehow of the wild west, just cooler and with more edge and with some amazing ponytails. Adriana Lima obviously knew how to turn heads with it.
Brandon Maxwell
Someone who has taken the fashion world by storm is Brandon Maxwell. The first time I heard of him was through Lady Gaga who is a good friend of him and who has supported him throughout his career. For me, his dresses are just a dream. They are feminine but not too much. He uses beautiful colours and cuts. So he is always one who just makes beautiful clothing and I hope he continues to do great work.
Diane von Furstenberg
I am really looking forward to spring because black seems to play a big role. Both the jumpsuit and the dress look fierce. They are the perfect example that black is colour which goes all year round. It is more about the fabric and the cut that determine if it is suitable for spring. So I do not want anyone to say black does not go in spring or summer. Of course it does and it looks as strong and sophisticated as in winter, Diane von Furstenberg just proved it with those two looks.
More looks that stood out to me
Jeremy Scott
