Tropical Wonderland - a colouring book

Since I have finished school, this book has been an amazing way to spend my time. The beautiful illustrations are so much fun to paint and you can just be creative with it. There is no right or wrong on how to paint your book. Just feel free to use whatever colours or pencils you want and do not think about it to much. I tend to paint with many different colours as you can see on the following picture. Of course it would look better if I had planned ahead how I wanted it to look, but for me it was more about the intuition rather than having a plan and sticking to it. At first I was hesitant, because I felt like it was a waste of time. But now, as I have already painted some illustrations I can definitely say that it is extremely good for relaxing. I sometimes catch my mind wandering off and time passes really quickly. I usually do not finish one illustration in one sitting, because they are too detailed and complex and you can spend various hours on just one illustration. However I will continue to use some of my free time to paint and just feel like a little child again.
